Description
The author Mehmet Ziya Gökalp (1876 – 1924) was a Turkish nationalist and a founder of the modern sociology in Turkey. Next to his scientific works Mehmet Ziya also published poetry, where he expressed his patriotist ideas in verses. This is his most famous collection of poetry, where he glorifies the ideal Turkish woman.
Our example is bound in an attractive contemporary red goat skin and is ornated with flashy metallic endpapers with floral decoration.
