Description

A richly illustrated ephemeral pamphlet commemorated the meeting of Amanullah Khan (1892 – 1960), king of Afghanistan between 1926 and 1929, and his wife Soraya Tarzi (1899 – 1968) was the first queen consort of Afghanistan, with Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in Ankara in 1928.

An ally to the Republic of Turkey, the king of Afghanistan and his wife were vitally interested in modernization of their country on the model, as practiced by Atatürk.

This book presents the meeting between the leaders in Ankara and also residences of the Afghan king and images of Afghanistan.

We could not trace any examples on Worldcat.
