Description

The text by an American industrialist and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie was published in Greek language in 1903, after it was first issued as an article in 1889 in North American Review. The text on the responsibility of philanthropy by the new upper class of self-made rich was especially important for the foundation of free libraries for the wider publish, in the US known as the Carnegie Libraries.
