The book is a report on the British presence in Iran from 1906 on with a map depicting the campaigns in the area south of the Caspian Sea in the years 1920 and 1921.

According to the information on the title page, the work is a translation from a French text, written by a lecturer at the Tehran Law Faculty Émile Louzoure (?).
