Description

A privately commissioned rare music score with a contemporary avant-garde cover was printed in Krško, Slovenia, in 1930.

The comical musical, written by a lawyer and music amateaur Rudolf Dobovišek (1891-1961), who besides this song wrote two more operettas, was according to contemporary newspaper reports, very popular.

The title page was designed under the influence of contemporary art forms. Dobovišek, who published the scores on his own coast in Krško, was probably following modern art movements in Ljubljana or abroad, where he was studying in his youth.
