An ephemeral invoice for a hotel at Oberpolliger in the center of Munich, was dated December 19^th, 1871.

The image showcases the Neuhauser Strasse in the center of Munich and the Karlstor, which was erected in neogothic style in 1861 and 1962. The view was made only a few years before the arrival of the streetcars.

Oberpollinger is a department store in the center of Munich. It is called after a brewery, founded in 1884 by Christoph Pollinger. The hotel, which existed on the place in the late 19^th century changed several owners until it was closed in 1903.
