A colourful map on original rollers shows Belgian Congo, a Belgian colony in Central Africa between 1908 and 1960, what is now the Democratic Republic of the Congo
Marked are cities, towns, rivers, factories, ports, Catholic and Protestant missions, mines of gold, diamonds, copper etc. As well as areas with different plants and animals.
The map was made by Frans Laboulais, a Belgian illustrator and author of pictorial maps.
