Description

Lithography in black and red, originally dissected in 15 segments, mounted on linen, and bound in red embossed paper binding with gilt embossed arms on the cover (Very Good, edges slightly worn) folded: 14,5 x 10,5 cm (5.7 x 4.1 inches), opened: 46,5 x 42 cm (18.3 x 16.5 inches). 

A map, showcasing the military manoeuvres of the 10th corpus of the German army south from Hannover and west from Hildesheim in Lower Saxony in 1585 was bound as a presentation copy in a highly decorative red embossed binding with a gilt coat of arms.
