Description

A collection of 6 (of ?) attractively made empty chromolithographed menu cards, with each representing members of a different animal species: moose, boar, buffalo, badger, ibex, and deer.

The set was made by a Swiss chocolate firm Suchard, which was founded by Philippe Suchard in 1824 and became the largest chocolate firm in Switzerland at the end of the 19th century, known among others for the production of Milka chocolate. The back of the cards shows the bird’s eye view of the factory in Neuchâtel, and their shops in London and Paris.
