This highly decorative Turkish report on the maritime trade was issued on the eve of WWII and represents the growth of the Turkish trade since its independence in 1923 until 1936.
The richly illustrated text, preluded with portraits of Atatürk and the heads of the trading offices, adorned with art deco frames, is followed by 11 folding colur plates, showcasing the growth of Turkish and world trade in innovative visual representations in shapes of ships, maritime symbols and charts.
The book is accompanied with a large colur map of the Istanbul port, designed in beautiful art deco forms.
