A first and only translation of Les fleurs du mal to Esperanto was published in La Laguna on Tenerife Island in 1957.

8°, 398 pp., [1], portrait photoreproductions between pp. 7-8 and pp. 48-49, original illustrated wrappers (Very Good, old hand written number on the inner side of wrappers, wrappers slightly stained with small tears in margins, edges slightly scuffed, small loss of paper on the spine).

 

This first and only translation to of Les fleurs du mal by Charles Baudelaire to Esperanto was made by two famous Esperanto authors Kálmán Kalocsay (1891-1976) and Gaston Waringhen (1901-1991).

The Esperanto publishing house Stafeto was run by Juan Régulo Pérez in La Laguna, Tenerife Island, between 1952 and 1975, when they publshed 93 books. 

The book was printed only in 1000 examples. We could only find seven examples of the book in libraries worldwide.
