This is an early translation of a short novel Die Sängerin by a German author Wilhelm Hauff (1802 – 1827), first published in 1926. The translator to Esperanto was Eugen Wüster (1898-1977), an Austrian terminologist, who published the first part of his dictionary in 1923. The series was never finished.
The publisher Friedrich Wilhelm Ellersiek (1880-1959), was publishing books in Esperanto, from 1909 on.
