8°, 286 pp. with a photoreproduction between pp. 8-9, [1], original illustrated wrappers, inserted tan advertisement (Very Good, wrappers hardly noticeable age-toned and with a small scratch, pp. 30-31 slightly age-toned, old pencil crosses on some margins, old annotations on the inner side of the wrappers, old collector’s stamp and autograph of the author on p. 1).
This is a first and only edition of the first collection of poetry by an author Marjorie Boulton (born 1924), who has been publishing in English and Esperanto since 1955. Currently Boulton is a president of two Esperanto organisations, Kat-amikaroand ODES. The copy is signed by the author, and dated 1955.
The Esperanto publishing house Stafeto was run by Juan Régulo Pérez in La Laguna, Tenerife Island, between 1952 and 1975, when they publshed 93 books, most of them in limited editions. This book was printed in only 1000 examples.
