Description

Mark was a prominent feminist, writer and editor of Armenian origins, based in Istanbul. From 1919 she edited Armenian newspaper for women, promoting literature and education, Hay Gin (Հայ Կին, “Armenian Woman”), until 1932, when it was closed down by the Turkish government. Most of Mark’s works was published in newspapers and publications are rare. We could not trace any institutional examples on Worldcat.
