Description
This is a rare Uzbek translation of the four Gospels, published by the British and Foreign Bible Society in 1913 on the eve of WWI. According to the imprint, the text was based on various other translations, but most notably on the Uzbek translation of the gospels by M. Ostrumoff, Russian Inspector of Schools, from 1891.
The book is exceedingly rare. With exception of Özege, we could not find any references to it in the literature available to us. We could find one institutional example on Worldcat (Boğaziçi University Library).
