Description
A broadside in Italian language, printed in Modena by a ducal printer Bartolomeo Soliani, announcing the restitution of trade of the borderlands of the Ottoman and Habsburg Empires after the Great Plague of 1738, an outbreak of the bubonic plague which lasted until 1740. The pandemics affected mostly the areas of today’s Romania, Hungary, Ukraine, Serbia, Croatia, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Austria. The boradisde also mentions Dalmatia with Dubrovnik and Croatian Islands.
