The map. printed on December 25, 1923 and issued on January 1st, 1924, as a supplement to a magazine Kokusai Shashin Joho (The International Graphic Magazine), was made by a master 20th century Japanese illustration and a manga artist Ogawa Jihei (小川治平, 1887 – 1925) and a famous woodblock printer Senpan Maekawa (前川 千帆 1888 – 1960).
