A highly decorative tourist map of Morocco, with decorative figural decoration, drafted by a French painter Jean-Gaston Mantel. Marked are oases, woods, cities, hotels, lakes, artificialal lakes, roads and train connections.

Jean-Gaston Mantel (1914-1995) was a French artist, who finished the School of Fine Arts ín Paris and moved to Rabat in 1936, where he opened his painting studio. In his later years he lived in worked on Côte d’Azur. Mantel is mostly known for his decorative paintings of inhabitants and horses of Morocco, images which he also used on this tourist map of Morocco.
