Description
[Announcement. Every removal of butter, cheese or milk from this firm is forbidden. Every removal will be treated as robbery and will be court-martialed].
An ephemeral announcement in German and Italian language was printed by the Nazis for the Italian city San Benedetto Po in the last days of WWII, to prevent the local people taking dairy products from a local (probably partly demolished) farm or factory.
The Allies liberated San Benedetto Po less than a month later, on April 22, 1945.
