A Polish translation of an Italian erotic novel by a futuristic artist Tullio Alpinolo Bracci, here signed as Kiribiri, with a superb cover design by a Polish graphic artist Mieczysław Berman, later known for his Communist propaganda posters and photomontages.

 

8°, 224 pp., [4 pp.], original illustrated card wrappers (minor age-toning and staining, small cracks and loss of paper on the spine, corners slightly scuffed, small folds on the wrappers, otherwise in a good condition).

Description

The author, who signed himself with nom de plume Kiribiri, was an Italian author and artist Tullio Alpinolo Bracci (1891-1951). Based in Turin, he became a founder of a so called “Second Futurism” in 1923 and was mostly known for his art work. Under his pen name Kiribiri, Bracci published a series of erotic ana pornographic novels in Italian language.

The cover was made by Mieczysław Berman (1903-1975), a polish graphic designer, who would some years later, in the mid and late 1930s became known for his photomontages, posters and other design, influenced by the Soviet Union and other communist countries. Berman received several international awards for his design.

We could only find one institutional example on Worldcat, yet with different pagination (National Library of Poland, OCLC 836966992),
