Christoph Weigel (1654 – 1725) was a prominent Nuremberg goldsmith, engraver and printer.  He worked closely with Johann David Köhler on his Atlas Scholasticus et Itinerarius (1712) on his publications and issued the Orbis Antiquus (1720) and the Reise Atlas (1724), in addition to his time charts, in his own right.
