12°, 70 pp. With illustrations within text, [1], original illustrated orange wrappers, pages stapled (Slightly age-toned and stained, small tears in margins, old manuscript remarks on the top of first page and on the cover, cover slightly water-stained and with a hole in the lower part, otherwise in a good condition).

A scarce booklet with six short theatre plays in Slovenian language for children was published immediately after the liberation of Yugoslavia in May 1945.

It includes 6 plays with war and pro-Partisan subjects, such as “Little Refugee” and “Let’s Play Partisans!”. The last page gives instructions how to put plays on stage correctly.

The booklet was illustrated with playful croquis by a Slovenian designer, architect and dancer Marija Vogelnik (1914-1908). Vogelnik was a student of the famous architect Joze Plecnik.
