This unusual tourist map of Rhodes Island in Greece, with bacis information and transport routes explained in Arabic language was made in 1949, in the time 1949 Armistice Agreements, to formally end the official hostilities of the 1948 Arab–Israeli War.

The agreements were signed during 1949 on Rhodes between agreements signed during 1949 between Israel and  Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, and Syria.
