Description
This highly decorative map of the South Bohemia shows almost 40 famous historical buildings in the region, situated between the central Czech region and Austrian and German border. The text on the back describes the famous monuments and cities in the South Bohemia in German language.
This area has some of most picturesque cities and towns in Europe, with monuments built from the medieval ages on. The map was printed in the capital of the region České Budějovice, today mostly known by its world famous production of beer.
The map is not signed, but was probably designed by one of the Czech illustrators, which were famous for their good quality design of propaganda material, books, cartoons etc.
