Description
A colourful map of Troy with a key in 4 languages, showcases various archeological layers of this ancient city. The map was printed by a tourist office in the Turkish city Çanakkale, in the vicinity of Troy.
The map was based on the drafts by German archaeologists Wilhelm Dörpfeld (1853 – 1940), a pioneer of stratigraphic excavation and precise graphical documentation of archaeological projects, and Wilhelm Wilberg (1872 – 1956).
