Description
An unusual uncut sheet with 3 crudely lithographed maps and charts in Ottoman language was possibly printed as a proof for illustrations for an atlas or a book on geography.
The maps on the left-hand side showcase the elevation in Turkey and the diagrams on the right-hand side Turkish mountains, rivers and lakes, pictured next to each other to represent their sizes.
The maps could be dated between 1923, when the country adopted a new name Turkey, and late 1927, before the change of the letters into the Latin script
We could not find the publication these drafts were made for.
