Description

[PARTISAN SONGS. A SELECTION OF THE SONGS TO RECITE ON OUR EVENTS].

A selection of 36 poems by various Slovenian male and female Partisan authors, written during WWII, was gathered in 1944 for the events, performed by an underground theater group.

The editor Jože Tiran (1920-1965) was a Slovenian theater actor. In 1942, he was imprisoned at the concentration camps Gonars and Treviso, and joined the Partisans upon his release in 1943, where he took the position of an organizer of the of an underground theatre group.

We could find three institutional copies in Slovenian libraries and none abroad.
