Description
A rare pamphlet in Ottoman language, describing the three centuries of the Vienna trade fair, starting in 1528, was printed for the March 1928 fair. The images include historic views and an image of the modern fair building. The pamphlet, drafted in Austria, has been in error printed in Western and not in the Middle Eastern reverse collation.
The illustrator of the images on the wrappers was an Austrian painter Albert Janesch (1889 – 1973). Due to his antisemitic attitude and paintings, glorifying the German ideals of the World War II, he was largely forgotten after the war.
We could not find any institutional examples on Worldcat nor in the Austrian National Library.
