[The News of All the World are Brought by Slovenec, Slovenec, Slovenec,…]
An attractive ephemeral large folding advertisement in Art Deco style was printed for the Slovenian newspaper Slovenec. The images represent the modern design of the newspaper, and its rapid delivery by cars, motorbikes, racing cars and airplanes. The back printed in blue and red, showcases the measurements for the paid advertisements in the newspaper.
The newspaper Slovenec, published between 1873 and 1945, was a leading Slovenian newspaper.
It was known for its strict Catholic contents, anti-liberalism and before WWI for its articles, loyal to the Austro-Hungary and the Emperor.
The newspaper was closed by the new Yugoslav government after WWII.
